Services

AXM Studio provides Shopify development services including theme development & customization, headless Shopify builds (Hydrogen/React), maintenance & optimization, and systems & integrations. All services are provided according to the specifications agreed upon in writing through project proposals or service agreements.

Payment Terms

• Maintenance & Optimization: Billed at $60/hour for ongoing support and technical consulting
• Store Build Packages: Starting at $5,000 (Essential), $8,000 (Brand), $12,000+ (Signature)
• Payment terms are specified in individual project agreements and may include milestone-based payments
• Invoices are due within the timeframe specified in the agreement (typically 14-30 days)
• Late payments may incur additional fees or pause project work

Project Scope and Changes

Project scope is defined in the initial proposal or agreement. Any changes to scope, timeline, or deliverables must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional costs or timeline adjustments.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, clients receive full ownership of custom code, designs, and deliverables developed specifically for their project. We retain rights to general methodologies, techniques, reusable components, and non-client-specific code that may be used across multiple projects.

Warranties and Limitations

We provide a 30-day warranty period on all custom development work for defects and issues directly related to our implementation. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for:

• Third-party integrations, apps, or platforms beyond our control
• Issues arising from client modifications or third-party changes
• Downtime or issues with Shopify's platform or infrastructure
• Data loss not directly caused by our negligence

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate project requirements and timely feedback
• Ensuring access to necessary accounts, APIs, and resources
• Maintaining backups of their Shopify store and data
• Complying with Shopify's terms of service and applicable laws

Cancellation and Refunds

Projects may be cancelled by either party with written notice. Work completed up to the cancellation date will be billed according to the agreement. Refunds for unused prepaid amounts may be provided at our discretion, minus any work already completed or expenses incurred.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AXM Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, and if necessary, through appropriate legal channels.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
